Beşiktaş Outscore Antalyaspor in Six-Goal Thriller to Boost League Ambitions

Beşqiktaş delivered an emphatic attacking performance to defeat Antalyaspor 4–2 in an entertaining Turkish Süper Lig encounter at the Tüpraş Stadium.

The hosts made a dream start, asserting control within minutes of kickoff. Orkun Kökçü opened the scoring as early as the 4th minute, setting the tone for a high-tempo contest. This early breakthrough was quickly followed by Jota Silva, who doubled Beşiktaş’ advantage in the 9th minute, capitalizing on the team’s attacking momentum. 

Despite the early setback, Antalyaspor responded with resilience. Sander van de Streek pulled one back in the 21st minute, briefly shifting the momentum. However, Beşiktaş restored their cushion before halftime through Hyeon-gyu Oh, who struck in the 33rd minute to give the hosts a 3–1 lead at the break. 

Second-Half Action

The second half resumed with renewed intensity, and Antalyaspor again showed fighting spirit. Samuel Ballet scored shortly after the restart in the 47th minute, reducing the deficit and keeping the contest alive. 

However, Beşiktaş maintained their attacking edge and composure. Hyeon-gyu Oh completed his brace in the 59th minute, sealing the victory and restoring a two-goal advantage that ultimately proved decisive.

Beşiktaş’ approach was built on aggressive attacking transitions and early pressing, which allowed them to overwhelm Antalyaspor in the opening stages. Their efficiency in front of goal—particularly in the first half—was a key factor in securing the result.

Antalyaspor, while defensively exposed at times, demonstrated commendable resilience and attacking intent. Their ability to respond twice in the match highlighted their threat going forward, but defensive lapses ultimately undermined their efforts.
