In the latest global assessment, UI was placed within the 801–1000 band worldwide , ahead of other Nigerian universities, reaffirming its long-standing position as a centre of academic excellence and research leadership in the country. Strong Global and Subject Rankings Beyond its overall ranking, the University of Ibadan also recorded impressive performances in subject-specific evaluations.
