The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced the process for candidates to print their 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) slips—an essential requirement for participation in the nationwide examination.

The UTME, a computer-based test used for admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria, is scheduled to hold between April 16 and April 25, 2026.

According to reports, the examination slip contains critical information including the candidate’s exam date, time, and assigned Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre. Without this document, candidates will not be permitted to sit for the examination.

How to Print Your 2026 JAMB UTME Slip

Candidates are advised to follow these official steps:

1. Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal

2. Log in using your registered email address and password

3. Click on "Print UTME Main Examination Slip of”

4. Review your details carefully

5. Download and print a clear copy of the slip

Alternatively, candidates can print directly by entering their registration number, email address, or phone number on the official slip printing page. 

Key Timeline and Updates

Recent updates indicate that the reprinting process typically begins a few days before the examination period, with 2026 slip printing expected to commence around early April. 

Experts advise candidates to print their slips at least one to three days before their exam date to avoid last-minute technical issues or portal congestion. 

Important Guidelines for Candidates

* Ensure all details on the slip are correct, 

including name, date, and centre

* Print multiple copies for backup

* Visit your CBT centre ahead of the exam day to avoid delays

* Avoid unofficial websites or individuals requesting payment for slip access

Educational sources further warn that candidates should not wait until the last minute, as high traffic on the portal can cause delays or temporary access issues.

The release of the 2026 UTME examination slip marks a crucial stage in the admission process for millions of Nigerian candidates. With the exam fast approaching, timely printing and proper verification of details will be essential to ensuring a smooth examination experience.
