Inter Milan Edge Torino to Secure Coppa Italia Semi-Final Spot

Inter Milan booked their place in the Coppa Italia semi-finals with a composed 2–1 victory over Torino in a tightly contested quarter-final clash played at the U-Power Stadium in Monza .

The Nerazzurri entered the encounter determined to assert their dominance early, and their patience paid off midway through the first half. Ange-Yoan Bonny broke the deadlock in the 35th minute , finishing confidently to give Inter a deserved lead after a period of sustained pressure.

Inter carried that momentum into the second half and struck again almost immediately after the restart. Andy Diouf doubled the advantage in the 47th minute , placing Simone Inzaghi’s side firmly in control of the tie and forcing Torino onto the front foot.

To their credit, Torino responded positively. The Granata reduced the deficit in the 57th minute through Sandro Kulenović , injecting renewed belief and intensity into the contest. The goal sparked a spell of pressure as Torino pushed for an equaliser, testing Inter’s defensive organisation and resilience.

Despite the late surge, Inter managed the closing stages with composure, limiting clear-cut chances and seeing out the match to confirm their progression. The result underlined Inter’s efficiency and tactical discipline, even as Torino showed fight and ambition until the final whistle.

The win sees Inter move one step closer to domestic silverware as they await their opponents in the Coppa Italia semi-finals, while Torino exit the competition with encouragement from a competitive performance against one of Italy’s strongest sides.
